Complete custom rebuilding & exchange,
starter, alternators, generators, distributor, magnetos, traction &
drive motors
We will custom rebuild any starter, alternator, generator,
distributor, magneto, traction motor on an R&R bases or exchanges
available. All units are completely disassembled and cleaned, and
rebuilt to exceed or match OEM specs. All units are fully tested before
shipping.
We specialize in restoration rebuilding of antique starter,
alternator, and generators from the turn of century to present.
We also rebuild and service all major brands of Magneto assemblies and
specialize in converting point distributors to electronic ignition by
using Pertronix igniter kits.
PROCEDURES
-
 Rebuilding procedures - All
units are completely disassembled and cleaned. Unit housings are put
through a 5 step cleaning procedure. First they are degreased and then
put through a hot pressure wash system. Then all housing are
steel shorted and bead blasted for
any
left over rust or corrosion that may be present. Then all housings
are
painted in a paint booth.

 The components like the armature,
rotor, startor and fields are checked, cleaned and tested before
servicing. All components that do not meet our specs are replaced.
- Assemble – All starters get
new brushes, bushings and any other wear items. New drives and
solenoids are also installed. All alternators receive new bearing
brushes and springs. New regulators in most cases are replaced.
- Testing – All alternators are
fully tested for proper amperage and voltage control. All starter’s
are tested and loaded for proper amp draw and checked for proper
voltage drop under load.
- Delivery and pickup is available in
our marketing area. All other areas are serviced
by using UPS.
- We are constantly dealing with hi
amperage upgrades and are very good in this area, but each request
must be dealt with individually. There are many variables that have to
be addressed to make sure the unit upgrade will be a success for
your
needs.
- We are
also very good at restoration
rebuilding and have the knowledge and proper procedures to make your
unit just like it was when it was manufactured.
- We also repair and service 110v to
220v AC generators for Onan, Generac, Honda, Coleman, Winco and many
other private brands.
